The 17th Annual Conference of HKSTAM 2013 was held in conjunction with the 9th Jiangsu–Hong Kong Forum on Mechanics and Its Application and the 3rd Symposium on the Development of Mechanics in Macau during March 22–23, 2013. The conference was co-organised by HKSTAM, the Jiangsu Society of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics (JSTAM), City University of Hong Kong, and University of Macau.
The conference consisted of a half-day session in Hong Kong (22 March) and a full-day session in Macau (23 March), featuring 4 invited distinguished lectures and parallel sessions.
